I did not find the sewing machine induction too difficult as I have used and set up sewing machines similar to the Bernina 1008 before. The only difficulty I had, was once I had selected the stitch I wanted on the top of the machine, it displayed two stitches, straight stitch and zig zag and I did not know how to change from one to the other. I asked for some help and I was shown the stitch width dial, 0 is straight stitch and 5 is a large zig zag, so you change the dial to what width you want.
After setting up the machine we created some samples using different stitches and changing the
stitch width and length.
