Garment windows and mark making

I used my mark making sheets and placed them behind these garments that I have cut out of fashion magazines. The idea is that you cut out sections of a garment such as the trousers block and then place the mark makings behind it to show you what the mark making would look like on an actual garment piece.

Below are some of my actual examples, showing the step by step process.

  1. Cut out the model from the magazine.
  2. Cut out a garment window where you want you mark making to show.
  3. place the mark making behind the garment window,
  4. I the edited the photo so you can’t see the print around the model, this also makes it look more like it would in a magazine.
