Zeitgeist is a german word meaning the spirit of a specific time.
Trend forecasting focuses on small patterns in information and data to predict the possible future trends. Fashion trends represent the zeitgeist.
Paul Nystrom created a framework which focuses on five different dominating factors to help predict the future trends.
